How It Works

Top Load Washer

The laundry room has a Samsung top load washer. Detergent goes straight into the drum — add it before the laundry.

How to use

  1. Turn the washer on.
  2. Select the program by turning the dial.
  3. Press start to begin the wash.

With the buttons on the right of the turning dial you can adjust the selected program — water temperature (Temp.), number of rinses (Rinse), spin speed (Spin) and soil level (Soil).

Good to know

  • The dial offers programs such as NORMAL, HEAVY DUTY, WHITES, BEDDING/WATERPROOF, PERM PRESS, ACTIVEWEAR, QUICK WASH, DELICATES, DARKS, RINSE + SPIN, SPIN ONLY and SELF CLEAN.
  • Pre Soak adds 18 minutes of soaking time at the start for better stain removal; Deep Fill adds extra water for larger loads.
  • The lid locks during the cycle — the display shows a lock icon and the lid can be opened again when it disappears.
  • Laundry pods can be put in with the laundry. If you bought liquid detergent, there is a drawer for the liquid after opening the top.
  • The display shows the estimated time remaining for the selected cycle.
  • Please leave the washer door open after your last load so it can dry out.
